Webinar details

What motivates people to learn?
Find out more about motivating young learners. We will look at the theories & research on internal and external motivators and find out why we use them as teachers.

Do you rely on extrinsic motivation to get your kids to learn?
I am sure you have all used a ‘reward’ system in your English class. Stickers, smiley faces, prizes, and points can be short-term wonders but they may cause more problems in the long term.

So, what can we do?
We will look at how game-based learning helps to motivate children intrinsically by focusing on the challenges and feedback. Find out how we can truly motivate our students and the important role parents can play!
