The past 20 years have seen the rise of the 21st Century Skills and 4Cs in education and language learning. These skills have been around for thousands of years, so why are they so popular now? This session will look at the history of integrating these skills into language classrooms and the benefits of doing so.

Webinar details

Are you destroying or developing your student’s critical thinking and creativity?

Children start school full of creativity and thinking skills and yet many leave school without these essential life skills. What are we teachers doing to harm these skills and, importantly, how can we be harnessing and developing these natural skills? This session will look at how we can integrate the 4Cs into all aspects of our teaching.

How does developing the 4Cs lead to ‘learning-centered’ classrooms?

We often talk about “teacher-centered” vs “student-centered” classrooms. This session will explore developing the 4Cs to put learning at the center of our classrooms. We will look at using new learning technology to create an environment for better learning outcomes in language classrooms.
