Studycat is making language learning easier for families worldwide with a major update to the Learn English app.

One of the challenges for smaller companies like ours is, ironically, languages!

While we are experts at teaching our curated curriculum, Studycat serves users in over 120 countries around the world. As you can imagine, this involves communicating with people in a lot of different languages!

And while we’ve always tried our best to serve customers with any questions or comments in their preferred language, our app’s parental settings, onboarding, and navigation were more limited.

But today we’re proud to announce that the Studycat Learn English app has now been localized into 35 languages from around the world. And we’re hard at work bringing our other language teaching apps up to this standard, so expect those to come up in the next few months as well.

Don’t worry about the gameplay, children will continue to learn through the full-language immersion Studycat method that millions of parents and kids love.

Making the app more accessible for parents

Previously, parents had to navigate Studycat in just a few select languages. Now, every Apple App Store-supported language is available in the parent area, onboarding instructions, and settings, making it easier for parents to manage their child’s learning experience in their own language.

This update doesn’t change how children learn within the app. All lessons remain in the language being taught—just as they always have. However, parents will now find it easier to adjust settings, track progress, and support their child’s learning journey without language barriers.

35 languages now available

With this update, Studycat now supports:

Arabic, Catalan, Czech, Danish, German, Greek, English, Spanish, Finnish, French, Hebrew, Hindi, Croatian, Hungarian, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Khmer, Malay, Dutch, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese (Brazil), Portuguese (Portugal), Romanian, Russian, Slovak, Swedish, Thai, Turkish, Ukrainian, Vietnamese, Chinese (Simplified), and Chinese (Traditional).

This update ensures that millions of parents worldwide can now access all important features, account settings, and learning tools in their native language.

Studycat

A better learning experience for families

And just to repeat, while this update doesn’t introduce new languages for children to learn, it makes Studycat’s apps more accessible, parent-friendly, and easier to use for families around the world.

By removing language barriers for parents, Studycat is trying to help more children build confidence in learning English with the right support at home.

Stay tuned for more updates as Studycat continues to expand access to fun and effective language learning for kids everywhere!
